As NCOs' founder and leader, Maria focuses her time on strategic planning and change management to ensure that NCO plays an essential role in increasing public broadcasting's ability to serve local communities. Maria is the primary spokesperson for NCO, leads efforts to create new resources and tools and works closely with CPB, PBS and organizations associated with public broadcasting.

Cristina manages NCO's planning and assessment tool PlanIT! She offers technical assistance for grant managers and station applicants for system grants in PlanIT! She also helps producers brainstorm how to plan for community engagement impact with their broadcasts.
